NY to my "God-Children"

I'm quite grateful to have two swell god children. I mean, who else has a cousin who plays in a heavy metal band, and signs off her Christmas presents in self-praise? :p I don't actually know what is required of a good god father, especially one that doesn't pray as much as he used to, nor adhere to Christian doctrines as much as he once did. But I am thankful that at least both ryan and steph have good parents and great families for them to grow up in and take care of them. I am sorry if I've not been there often enough, or adequately enough, but I hope that the new year holds new and better prospects for all of us.
