I finally realize why people say women bosses are the worst. And why all-women companies are bitch-pits and recipes for disaster. Working with some female colleagues this past 3 years has been the worst experience of my life. Ok,
not all of them are hopeless. I dare say it's only a handful out of the hundreds that i've worked with over the years that are the bad apples. But it's become painfully apparent to me that the worst of the lot are
1000 times worse than any egotistical male in power. And i seriously doubt its because i'm a male (so feminists, back the F off this post and save your comments for injustices more worthy of your time and "effort").
Working on this current project has been infuriating. One just pulled out last minute without a reason and care.
All of them just don''t reply emails, even ones with the line "PLEASE REPLY TO ACKNOWLEDGE, EVEN IF IT'S THE WORD "OK". Like frivolous emails like "we're screening a video next week" get replies. WHAT THE FUCK is your priority!
The biggest culprit acts all big in front of the Head of Dept, as if willingly taking on the mantel of organizing the entire project ("
How about we do this cos i think... yes that's a brilliant idea sir, and i think i can do that...") , takes on loads of work ("
ok i'll do this, and this, and this, shane you get this done, dan you get that done and we're set"), but at the end of the day, NOTHING is done. After a second meeting, the rest of us do out part, but she panics cos she has done fuck-all, and she frantically RE-CIRCLES all the "To Do" things she put in her freakin notebook, but NOTHING is done again. The sheer incompetence! Ask if she got the emails... she says "uh, you sent me an email? what was it about i forgot?" If you're such a scatterbrain, why do you pretend you can do so many things and get us involved in doing so much shit but NOT do your OWN fucking work??!! Chao chee bai!
Don't you understand that we are all working together? that we all need to know what you are doing so on that day you won't just turn up and say "oops"? That if you don't do your work or do a half fuck job, you fuck up the ENTIRE project?And if something goes wrong, i am SO sure i'm going to take all the flak.
I apologise. Maybe it's just
incidental that these people (and more unmentioned here) are female. Maybe they're just fucking IDIOTS to work with.
If i can the blame, I won't go down quietly. I'll make sure your reputation is
destroyed before i go down.
