Some asshole has been pretending to be an eletrician or some kind of technician on NUS campus and "borrowing" handphones from students by saying that they need to make a short urgent call. He pretends to make a call, then runs away gleefully into the deep blue yonder. We've been categorically ordered by the Police
NOT to lend our handphones to ANYONE under ANY circumstances. I can see someone writing to the forum in the near future, saying "Singaporeans, especially university students, are so unhelpful. What ugly Singaporeans we are"
Blah blah blah.
Just the other day some doink wrote into the forum saying SMRT should seriously reconsider putting
barriers in open platform train stations. But WHY? Cos you people are
stupid enough to stand past the yellow line, push their girlfriends and colleagues onto the train tracks, or are silly enough to try to jump into packed commuter trains by "
playing chicken" with the sliding doors
? What, you can't understand "please stand behind the yellow line" in
FOUR fuckin languages?? Please don't make me sick. The fact that SMRT is already considering putting ramps (as recently designed by some fantastic poly students - good thinking guys, you'll make millions from these retards) is a fuckin huge compromise for the promotion of idiocy, if you ask me.
Another one wrote in and said we are "
ugly Singaporeans" cos some lady got dragged at Clementi station (is this like the third time already?? Do they ALL stay in Clementi??) after trying a "Matrix" move to try and catch the departing rush hour train. The writer says we should feel
pity and sympathy for the person who took it upon herself to be dragged by the train. Look, thousands of people take the fuckin train. Only a
handful of idiots make it into the Maximum Exposure hall of fame, or 'Retards - Caught On Film'.
