Ok.. So Bloc Party is good. But
Switchfoot's new album is even better! More rock, more emotion, more drum and head bangin! (ok
lah, not quite).
Oh! Gravity and
Awakening are among my favourite tunes at the moment. Takes me a while to discover a new album and all its subtle secrets. If something else reveals itself to me, i'll let ya know *grin.
Supposed to go out with Eujin today and it just started to storm here. TMD! Of all the freakin' times to rain! BAH. Guess i'll have to buy an umbrella from GIORDANO later. Hopefully they won't sell out by the time i get there. So bloody MAH FAN.
Had a long think about relationships and marriage.
V mentioned that people should just not get attached until they're ready to get married and (or not) have kids, otherwise it's just a futile exercise. I guess that means that whoever you end up with will be just that person who was there at the time and who needed someone just like you as well. Seems so... uncertain. *sigh. On a lighter note, we also mused about how it's been scientifically proven that the brain somehow suspends all rational thought (ie. normal and logical sequences of brain activitiy) during the first few weeks of a relationship... then kicks back on later (hence the end of romance as we know it).
Why, we don't know. But it's amusing nonetheless. Plenty to think about.
