On Bloc Party and funny tees

The new album by Bloc Party is even more trippy than the first one i got. A Weekend in the City is definitely one for drum and bass fans and UK rock. Of course, it's not the usual emo punk UK shite, so if you like Coldplay and Keane, i doubt you'd like Bloc much. But maybe MUSE fans might like them a little bit. But that's only cos i like MUSE too hahaha!

Today I was wearing my "Jesus loves you... everyone else thinks you're a wanker" tee shirt and somehow of all days, everyone noticed the print. I guess they just assumed it was a "I love Jesus" tee shirt (since i used to wear a lot of Catholic Society tee shirts). But that's what makes it so funny cos people do a double take when they actually read the print.

I was in line at the ATM and Fieldmarshall Farrell (newly self-promoted General Farrell ) - for the uniniated, he's a "famous" history lecturer in NUS - walked past me, pointed at my shirt and said "That's a DAMN good tee shirt", then walked off. Haha... funny bugger. Even not-so-grumpy-now Daniel Teo saw me in the co-op today and said "Hey Shane how is-hahhahahahahha " (cos he saw my shirt too).

I think this shirt is a damn hit with people everywhere. Should have bought more like it from aussie. Ah, but i'll get loads to opportunity in the near future, i suppose! Stupid ANN-NET called me from the MUSE concert just to let me listen to the rockin noise in the background cos she had tickets and I didn't. STUPID ANN NET!!! But still love you lah hahahahha ;P
