depressed.da vinci. dissertations.Am all alone in the room. Trying to do my thesis. Hate my dissertation. Hate sitting here all alone thinking about my dissertation. Just want to run away from it all. Hate sitting here thinking about not doing anything about my dissertation and yet not having anything else to do. So just sitting here. yup. Noone to have tea with cos noone is insane enough to come to NUS during "summer" break.
Looking forward to tomorrow but tomorrow ain't coming fast enough. Wish i could just sleep now and get it over with.
MDA says it didn't make any cuts to Da Vinci cos they looked at it from a secular point of view and hence "fictional". Wonder if someone made a movie of the Prophet Mohammad whether they would let it pass through censors. Wonder if they thought the plot of kill the malaysian PM in 'Zoolander' was real (and hence non-fiction) and based on a actual plot that leaked out from someone's foreign affairs dept that's why they banned it. Or wishful thinking. I Tsk you. Not that I'd support anything to ban the movie... if anyone sent around that darn chain email about how they're collecting names to ban a particular movie (ever got one of those?) I'd probably hit "reply all"and put in "Praise the Lord but you can kiss my ass!" as my contribution. Funny how when they make controversial stuff about Christianity people lap it up and the movie earns 300 billion bucks, but try doing it to Islam or certain governments and you've got 300 billion bucks worth of riot damage. Wonder if it has anything to do with Christian thinking and the overrated so-called enlightenment. Wonder if anyone is bothering to read this.
